At Hoot’s Hollow Farm, we take care of much of the work so parents can actually enjoy the celebration. There is no need to spend days getting the house ready, rearranging furniture, decorating every room, or worrying about cleaning everything up after the last guest leaves.
Our team acts as your party planner and activity host throughout the celebration. We help guide the children from one experience to the next, including horseback riding, animal visits, ceramic painting, the egg hunt to the Enchanted Cottage, and other farm activities. Parents do not have to spend the entire party trying to organize children, explain what comes next, or keep everyone entertained.

We love helping families personalize their celebration around the birthday child. Whether they love horses, princesses, superheroes, Peter Rabbit, Toy Story, dinosaurs, or something completely different, we can work with your theme, colors, and ideas to make the farm feel like it was decorated especially for them.
We create personalized signs and decorations and enjoy adding those little details that make the birthday child feel important from the moment they arrive.

Hoot’s Hollow has a dedicated piñata area because we know piñatas are an important birthday tradition for many San Diego families. Many party venues do not allow them, but here you can include a piñata as part of your celebration without having to worry about where to hang it or whether the venue permits it.
There is also plenty of room for family traditions, your own food and drinks, birthday presents, photos, and all the little touches that make the celebration yours.
One of our favorite moments came after a recent party when the birthday girl was leaving the farm. As I drove her and her parents back toward their car in our little red cart, she looked at them and announced:
“Best birthday ever.”

Our birthday parties are designed for children from about ages 1 through 12, and we can adjust activities to fit the age of the birthday child and guests.
Can adults attend too?
Yes. Adults are included in the total guest count, and families are encouraged to stay, relax, and enjoy the celebration.
Can we bring our own food?

What happens if it rains?
We have a Plan B. If the weather does not cooperate, we can move the celebration into The Hoot’s Hollow Farmhouse, our beautiful indoor event space with tables, chairs, a full kitchen, and bathrooms. It gives families a comfortable indoor option so the celebration can continue even if the weather changes.
